Charles Joseph V. Garcia is a Filipino pianist, vocalist, music educator, and church musician, an Associate in Arts graduate, and currently pursuing further studies at the University of the Philippines Diliman. With a deep passion for sacred music and ministry, he has devoted his musical gifts to serving both the church and the next generation of aspiring musicians.
He is under the mentorship of Dr. Beverly Shangkuan-Cheng in choral conducting at the University of the Philippines Diliman. He is also a member of the Philippine Choral Directors Association (PCDA) and the Junior Philippine Conductors Association (JPCA), continually refining his craft in choral leadership and sacred music performance. In addition, he is part of “A Hundred Times Sixty” (6000 Voices Choir) of the Philippine Madrigal Singers, under the direction of Sir Mark Anthony Carpio in Biñan, Laguna, further enriching his experience in choral artistry and ensemble performance.
He serves as the Pianist and Music Director of Dasmariñas Community Christian Bible Baptist Church in Cavite, where he leads in worship, accompaniment, and choral music ministry. Since beginning his musical training at the age of 14, he has developed extensive experience in piano performance, vocal technique, church music leadership, sacred repertoire, and collaborative performance.
Beyond church ministry, Mr. Garcia remains committed to artistic and professional growth through music education, teaching piano, voice, and choral ensembles, while also volunteering in mission churches. He also serves as a faculty instructor at the Bible Institute of Central Bible Baptist Church in Trece Martires City, Cavite, mentoring students toward both musical excellence and purposeful Christian service.
